Longitudinal  connectivity  and  potential  of  verges  as  habitats  in terms  of  their  nature,  species  and  context  :  a  systematic  review  of  transport infrastructure

The fragmenting effect of Linear Transport Infrastructures (LTI) is now well documented. The objective of the systematic review is to focus here on the role that LTIs may possibly also have, as habitat potential or longitudinal axis of movement for biodiversity. By objectifying and contextualizing this role, depending on the surrounding landscape, the compartments of biodiversity or the nature of the green dependencies of these ILTs and the ILT itself, this systematic review will lead to recommendations for managers concerning the management methods that should be favored over their dependencies or the prioritization of restoration / compensation measures in terms of landscape context or taxa to favor.
