[copie] BioDT
DIgital Twin for Biodiversity
BioDT is an incubator project with the ambition of proposing a Europe-wide project (probably LIFE) at the end of its 12-month duration. To achieve this, BioDT will capitalise on 2 years of preparatory work carried out by TerrOïko and its partners SNCF Réseau, VINCI and IENE.
The European project built at the end of BioDT will aim to :
- Support the open source development of the technological building blocks enabling the full implementation of the processing proposed by Moulherat et al (2023).
- Support the deployment of bird detection devices initiated in the ITTECOP labelled AIGLE project in airports and the implementation of facilities within SNCF Réseau sites already identified during preliminary work and awarded by the IDDRIM 2023 prize.
- Support the monitoring of the effectiveness of environmental measures for infrastructure projects.
- Ensure the overall management of projects to create and monitor environmental measures, with the assistance of dedicated digital twins.
- Produce feedback for the Handbook issuing from the BISON project.
BioDT will lead the development of this ambitious project by extending European partnerships, organising the meetings required to set up a European project and drafting the final application.
